Jarome Iginla netted a hat trick in the Flames' 5-2 win over the Kings on Saturday. Jay Bouwmeester contributed a pair of assists, while Daymond Langkow was credited with the game-winning goal while shorthanded. Langkow also had an assist in the game. David Moss scored the Flames' other goal late in the contest on the power play.

Manny Legace was fantastic, allowing a lone goal, in the Hurricanes' 3-1 win over the Lightning Saturday Night. Legace, who is getting starts with Cam Ward on the IR (leg), got the Canes' their fifth win of the season. He made 20 saves while recording his second win of the season.

Pavel Datsyuk score in regulation and again in the shootout sealing the 3-2 Detroit win over Montreal Saturday. Brad Stuart scored Detroit's other regulation goal. Detroit's defense had a great game picking up four points which included Stuart's goal. Brian Rafalski, Nicklas Lidstrom and Brett Lebda picked up assists in the win. Henrik Zetterberg potted the other shootout goal.

Mike Cammalleri potted twice in regulation but was unable to beat Jimmy Howard in the shootout in Montreal's 3-2 loss to Detroit. Andrei Kostitsyn assisted on both of Cammalleri's goals. Tomas Plekanec and Jaroslav Spacek each picked up helpers as well. Georges Laraque returned to the Habs lineup and made a large impact after knocking Niklas Kronwall from the game after the two had a leg-on-leg collision.

Jimmy Howard was between the pipes for the Red Wings in their 3-2 victory over Montreal Saturday night. Howard was able to turn aside 16 of 18 and both of Montreal's shooters in the shootout. Detroit improved to 11-6-4 on the season.

Carey Price turned aside 32 shots but the Canadiens were unable to beat the Red Wings, losing 3-2 in a shootout. Price was peppered early, he faced 16 shots in the first period. The Montreal goaltender was unable to stop both Red Wing's shooters in the shootout, Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg were able to beat the young goalie.

Nathan Horton scored the winner in Florida's 3-2 victory over the New York Rangers Saturday. Steve Reinprecht and Jordan Leopold had the Panthers other goals in the game. Florida has been on fire as of late with their third straight road win and have won eight of 11.

Vaclav Prospal had two points in the Rangers 3-2 loss Saturday at the hands of the Florida Panthers. Prospal potted the first goal of the game and added an assist on Marian Gaborik's third period goal. The Rangers struggles continued as that was their fourth loss in five games. After starting the season 7-1, they've dropped their third straight at MSG.

Tomas Vokoun turned aside 32 of 34 shots in Florida's 3-2 victory over New York Saturday night. Vokoun faced a flury of shots in the second and third period, 14 and 13 respectivly. The Panthers were able to shut down the one chance the Rangers had on the power play.
